     Thank you for posting the wonderful Zama Guide book and please thank Millard Greer for the original.

     My Dad will turn 90 later this week (late 2010.) I am making a video for his party. Earlier this week, I sent him the picture, inscription and question below it. The handwritten note and diagram were on the back of the picture. I had no idea what it was, or even if it might not be my Uncle’s HQ in Germany in WWII or something else.

     As I scrolled down to the first page of the Guide book website and looked over to the right, there it was. The same unmistakable shape. The AFFE Headquarters building!

     Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I have a some photos from our stay there, roughly ’54-’56,  including our own “portable housing,” our “boys day” flags, etc. I’ll send them along if you want to add them to the site.

     By the way, my Dad is Harold (Hal) C. Finlayson. He was a Major at the time, I believe.
