Friday night was a group dinner event at the Japanese buffet restaurant called Todai's. Upon returning to the hospitality room,  the musician's jam session began, consisting of Joe Ross (mandolin, concertina, and keyboard), Jimmy Tamae (electric guitar and percussion), Geoffrey Mays (electric guitar), Danny Vidal (electric bass), Wayne Sakai (bongos), and Mikey Lau (trumpet, harmonica, and percussion).    They played about 2 hours.

The silent auction went on as they played as well as selling of raffle tickets.

To complete the evening, the karaoke machine got started and  people were enjoying themselves singing until about 2:40 AM!
A matter of hours later, a breakfast buffet was served in the hospitality room.

Saturday, of course, was the big day. Prior to dinner was the cocktail session and a "surprise" visit from Mark Hamill. He was attending a comics convention not far from the hotel.

Once dinner got served, the raffle prizes and silent auction items were given out.  Then proceeded with various awards including a Certificate of Honor to June and .............

Once all awards were complete, the class photos were taken, and dancing then completed the evening. Music was played using CDs played through the room's P.A. but because of poor quality, it was then changed to one of the musician's guitar amplifiers.

Not wanting to quit, we still went back up to the hospitality room for more partying.

Mike Roley was seen parading around in the obi that was won in the silent auction.
