YOHI IMPACT ON MY LIFE

We grew up with a lot of diversity at Kinnick. We all came from different backgrounds and cultures. We all fit in because we were all different. I enjoy many different cultures and the foods and ways of thinking that come with them. I also appreciated the ability to participate in so many activities. Those opportunities may not have been there for me had I gone to a larger school stateside. I think that all of us who went to a DODDS school share a common bond. We have a background and experiences which only we can fully understand and appreciate, and I think in many ways we are all better off for it.
