'README' TYPE FILE INCLUDED ON CD / DVD
| YOHIWORLD READ ME FILE [yohicd6.htm] LOADING THE DISC -- MAKING IT 'PLAY'. It is my intent to make this disc easy to 'play' for everyone, regardless of what platform / system / browser you use with your computer! We are searching for alternatives, and then experimenting to find the best methods to 'play' the disc. At the moment offer three choices: 1 -- THE AUTOPLAY METHOD. This method is the simplest, and involves just inserting the disc in the CD / DVD ROM drive and closing the door; and, IF you have the 'right' equipment / software / setup .......... the yohiworld.html file on the disc will be activated and will 'play' without any further action on your part. It is believed this method will apply to ALL users of 'WINDOWS 95' and above. Should you NOT want to 'play' the disc automatically, you may bypass the loading of it by holding down the 'shift' key while closing the CD / DVD ROM drive door. The automatic feature is provided by the insertion of certain files within the disc which work in conjunction with files on your computer which cause the automatic feature to activate. Separate instructions provided -- see below. 2 -- CLICK A CERTAIN FILE ON THE DISC. The file on the disc which activates it's contents is a file with the name -- yohiworld.html -- and is visible when using your 'Windows EXPLORER' to view the files on your computer AND on the disc. By double-clicking that file the disc will 'play'. To find that file, use your 'Windows EXPLORER' and follow the path to the disc and the file -- yohiworld.html -- and click it. Separate instructions provided -- see below. 3 -- USING START / RUN. Clicking on the 'start' icon and then selecting the 'run' feature will open a window in which to insert the command / path to 'play' the disc. That command would be: D:\yohiworld.html. If your CD / DVD ROM drive is not identified as 'D', then you will need to substitute the correct letter for 'D' - A or B or C or .......... Using the same beginning point, you also can use the 'browse' function instead of typing in the command if you want. Just click on the 'browse' button and follow the path to the disc and click on the file -- yohiworld.html and it will automatically load up. Separate instructions, see below: SEPARATE
