COMPUTER SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:  Testing facilities during the creation of the CD / DVD discs were limited for both the PC and MacIntosh platforms; and until Oct 2005 it was determined that the discs would work on PC platforms, but NOT on MacIntosh type computers ['Mac', Unix, Lenox.....].

The reason for the 'Mac' failure was that we were unable to repeatedly test and retest and ...... to identify which 'code' was causing it to fail on those platforms.

During Oct 2005, Paul Galanti, Class 1970, agreed to test and retest discs on his 'Mac' until I was able to identify and correct the 'coding' until the disc would work on his computer.

So we now believe that our disc will now work on both the PC and MacIntosh platforms; however, in the case of the later, the disc will not load automatically as it will on the PC platforms when inserted in the drive, and must be 'run' by internal methods using file management procedures.

We believe the minimum requirements for 'PC's' to successfully use the disc are:

Windows 95,  Pentium coprocessor, 64 meg RAM, 128 video RAM, 10x CD / DVD ROM drive, 15 inch monitor, sound card [optional], configured for multi-media [web site -- Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer] use.   If not a special htm/l software program would be required.

At this writing we are unable to define the minimum prerequisites for the MacIntosh, but would suggest that it would be for computers created starting perhaps in 2003/4.

Web browsers, and their configuration and version are a separate and extremely complicated issue.  Generally, if you can view web sites on the Internet you will be able to use the disc.  However, depending on what specific browser you use and it's version, some of the 'applets', 'java script', will not work, but you will see 95 percent of the disc.  Your browser must be tuned to your system and there are hundreds of configurations -- to many to mention here.

Additionally, you may be being mislead by your 'server' as to what your computer capabilities are.  When you 'go on line' and view a web site, you may be USING the browser of the server, AND NOT YOUR OWN, and when you are NOT 'on line' you DO NOT have a browser that will work on your computer / disc.  You must determine this on your own.

Despite good intentions, we cannot guarantee the entire disc will work on your computer.

Each disc is spot tested to insure that certain key files / features are NOT contaminated during the 'burning' process, and are working properly.  The 'burning' process takes the files from the Hard Drive and copies them onto the disc itself.

It is not possible however to test all 11,000 + files burned into EACH disc after it is created -- that takes days and days!

If you are not satisfied with your disc, let me know!
