The success of this web site is directly attributed to alumni who have offered significant assistance to it's success in one form or another.  The primary effort has been the loaning of precious memorabilia (mainly yearbooks) to Iva and me for scanning and insertion of the images into the site.  Others have performed services such as design of "logos" and other graphics, conducted research into a number of areas, provided technical assistance, or performed duties as a part of the web site staff, or just gave suggestions and encouragement.  Some sent in pictures ready for insertion, or prepared lists, etc................. Each of those acts are very much appreciated by Iva and me. Following are identification of those who helped in those ways.   Overlooked - remind us.

"CERTIFICATE OF HONOR"

As in any project where people in large numbers are involved, there are those who for many reasons are able to accept a greater responsibility for the group and provide something extra to the cause.  So is the case within the YOHI World.  In 1999 we created an "awards program" to recognize special recognition cases -- that we were aware of. 

Bob Bonn, Class of 1965, had already created super graphics for the web site, so he was asked to create a basic image for a "Certificate of Honor" - a 8.5" x 11" image to be produced commercially as needed, and inserted within a wood frame with glass front that would be presented to those who were deserving of special recognition.  The basic design would be altered in each case by the addition of certain images, and other data, that would make them unique -- an original to that person.  

Since Iva and I could not present each award at a public gathering [appropriate for such presentations] we used "proxy's" who presented them for us, and or sent the award direct to the individual involved if necessary.

A subsequent design removes the two "tori's" on either side and the 2 unique images are placed there.

Certificates of Honor are presented only ONE time.  In other words, a second "Certificate" for hosting a second reunion would not be presented; or continuing to search and locate additional alumni, or creating a second "Class" web site  .........
